Only problem I am having is a few crashes. At first it did it every 2 miniuts. Then i updated my Catalyst. and their was a 28mb update to deus ex. And then it was fines. Now Im at the second to last Main mission. And its doing it again all the time. I have heard of Nvidia guys having a a few issues. But being as the game was made for AMD cards. i was expecting it to run like clockwork. Well it did for most of today untill i restarted my PC lol.
Im sure their will be a fix for it again. But even the constant crashing doesnt make me want to stop playing. like a fool i load it straight back up and continue. It is that great a game.

Deus EX is probably one of the best games ever! get it now!(yes it will look dated but gameplay is more than graphics)
Seriously though,I am more or less at the start of this and I can see how much effort went into not straying from the original,its bloody good!

Love it only cost me £21.59
great game, I noticed people saying it didn't run well maxed out.. i'm getting such high frame rates without V-Sync on i'm getting tearing..
Must be pushing 120+
i brought the augmented edition. from game as i always try to buy the collectors editions of games. think it was just under £40 for that version.
As for performance. when things are quite im getting 188-194fps. but that gets reduced to around 102-122 when things get hot. so the game runs fine. just those crashing issues.

who cares about the "epeen" on DX9,DX11,we all know this is a port!,But it is probably the best I have ever seen!!
Why don't you talk about how it plays?
To me,
It plays very tight(a bit tooo sensitive) at the beginning,Which is easy to fix.The general controls are very good,if slightly sluggish,which goes to show that this game is not a bad console rip off that a lot were expecting.The storyline is amazing(and who can forget those trailers).
This is shaping up to be a very nice game,that follows its PC roots,Can we talk about how it feels compared to the original(and possibly best game ever)?

Oh, I just checked you rig in your profile, no wonder you're getting 120fps+! Still, with my second 570 arriving hopefully Tuesday I think my rig will cope just fine.

Just finished the game. It is brilliant start to finish. Only thing that lets it down are the 3 boss battles. They seem to not fit in with the game. but they are short and pretty easy so you can get back on with the normal gameplay after.
It is a brilliant game and deffinatly up their in my top 10.

Hi,
Well done! I've read a couple of review that say the "boss" battles seem rather out of place with the rest of the game. Also, if you're a stealthy player (like I tend to be in games where it's an option) there is not a way to use that ability against these bosses.

indeed it makes fighting the bosses how they should be thought Toe to toe. a little harder. But alas. All the bosses can be beat with stealth. And some grenades. 1st boss is just a few stun grenades. second oss is EMP grenades and the addition of your own stealth camo. and the 3rd boss again just emp grenades and some well placed grenade launcher rounds (augmented edition only) and the end boss is more of a level so stealth works very well here as well.
Granted these are not the recomended ways to defeat these boss's but it works. so yes even a stealth char can do them prettu easily. As thats what all my points went into. Stealth and a hacking.

This is the only PC game in the last 5 years that has sparked my interest.... I was a HUGE fan of the first Deus Ex and when I saw the first commercial on TV that they were coming out with a new one I got pretty damn excited, I won't lie.
