Have some upgrades in mind, worth it?

So now that I have my computer built and I have a little bit more spare time, I find myself wondering what I should do next. I know that I want to overclock my i5 750 so I am going to pick up a Noctua NH-D14 as my cpu is running at 70 degrees right now just running @ 2.73ghz. I am seriously contemplating buying an SSD as I just have a cheap 500gb HD as my primary drive and I've read the reviews on some of the ssd's here at OC3D.

My windows experience index is as follows:

7.2 processor

7.7 memory

7.4 graphics

5.9 HD

I was going to order a 128gb C300 and a mounting bracket but I just wanted to post here first to see if it would be worth the $300. What do you guys think?

An ssd will make a massive difference to your day to day use of your pc, forget the rubbish windows rating thing lmao

I would HIGHLY suggest purchasing an A-Data SSD seeing as they are re-branded Intels, for cheaper.

And, yes, the WEI is totally useless, not a good measure of a system at all.

Well Intel announced yesterday their X-25M refresh. If you can hold out until the end of the year I'd wait until then. If you have to purchase now, the C300's are great. I have two of them.

Also, if you wanted to get more capacity for a lower price, you can check out these drives.

They are hybrids of traditional HDD and an SSD, it's ingenius, if you ask me.

Alright well if it would be a better idea to wait till the end of the year before buying an ssd then I might do that. What is it about the Intel drives that make them worth waiting for?

Best specifications, for the price, very balanced.
