NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT might be the problem, i dunno more info on my other post.

settings all default (auto) on the Extream Tweaker Tab in the bios.

thanx for posting

your right the card is really old(older then i thought) and its the low end of the geforce 7 series :(. but i also found out that i can use programs to overclock the card and save some money :). i uped the engine clock on it and increased my fps on 3DMark06 from 3 to 6 :D and uped my score to 2020 on my first OC on the gpu which i think is alot better then my other OC attems to increase my score :D

thanx a bunch, imma see how much i can get out of the card with the rest of my leet comp setup

öhm... If you have bought a maximus extreme and a Q9450, why don't you spend some money on at least a 4650/9600gso or a 4850/4870?

I agree with Monkey. It's a shame to have such a nice setup without a good gpu to do it justice... ;)

Does depend what you want the system for.. but since you are running 3Dmark06 I guess you are a gamer.

loo, why o why did you put a 7300 with such sexy hardware?

next pay check ill prob buy a nice graphic card ill prob go with the 8800 gts cause im not a fan of ATI :P

I Know its sexy !!! i Cried(inside) cause of such a Sh1Ty ass 3dmark6 score and sum random joe with a better graphics card but way below my systems hardware score 5-7 times more :(

not use how much i want to spend or rather what to get

What is your budget for a graphics card?

It's for sure your graphics card that is letting you down, that card is very old TBH!

im going to to get the best GPU for nvidia eVGA e-GeForce GTX 280 SSC(or ftw) Edition 1GB PCI-E w/ Dual DVI, HDTV-Out = +$500

or get a eVGA e-GeForce 9800 GTX+ 512MB PCI-E w/ Dual DVI, HDTV-Out = only >$200

Strongly wouldn't suggest that.. Seeing you have an Intel Chipset board.. I would suggest the 4870 (or get 2 of them for CF ;))

They're fantastic cards, very near to the same as the 280GTX and cheaper ;)

i might get HIS Radeon HD 4870 512MB GDDR5 PCI-E w/ Dual DVI, HDTV-Out, HDMI = $274.95

Good one, although I'd rather go for the Sapphire version, but I would strongly suggest the 4870 over the 280GTX any day!

have a really dumb question but will i be able to run 2 of 4870 in the future? and u think i'll be worth it?

woah these cards r really huge :O

its like 3 time bigger then my 7300gt :D

grrr i think ima have to but a new monitor just because of a grapics card change :( . lol price keeps going up

Yes you will be able to run two of them in the future, your motherboard is CrossFire enabled, and you will get the full 16x bandwidth on both of the cards, it is essensially like nearly having another graphics card in there, near to twice the power in some apps.

I would strongly recommend 2x 4870s in CF than a single 280GTX, looking at the price difference, it is well worth it and the 4870's are actually VERY close to the 280GTX in performance, and in some tests even beats it!

EDIT: Yeah it is a huge card, make sure your case is big enough to house it!

It`s where the likes of 3dmark break down in their methods.

U can use a QX9650 and... a pci FX5200, and get a record score for the card. The card will be shizzle, but the cpu gives u a start off of 5/6k or so.

Yeah but that gives you a good score for the CPU.. the graphics card would be a complete let down for obvious reasons!

Right, so, I think I have done my bit.. it is your choice. I would personally (and I think a lot of people agree with me here) go for the 4870 as it is the better card to go for and the fact that you can put another in later in CF, all the better ;)

U don`t exactly look at the highest 3dmark results and critique them (well in the main people dont) - the end score is the end score.

8k 3dmark06 for a FX5200 pci, quite deceiving.
