Has anyone tried or have a Microsoft Zune yet?

I'm just curious because the user reviews that I've read thus far seem great. People really love this thing for a various amount of reasons. Does anyone here have any experience with one? If so, how do/did you like it, and is it work forking out the money for if you're on the market for an MP3 player?

I haven't had a Zune but own an Ipod nano and used many of my friends Ipod Videos. For the Zune being the same price as the Video I would go for the video.

No real reason other than I have had good experiences with my ipod.

i think thats when you wireless send it from zune to zune.

if you want a new mp3 get a ipod or a vision m tbh.

i would never say i love microsoft, but you have to be careful about what you actually take on board what "people hear" from other people etc. There are so many people that dislike microsoft, they would say its crap even if they didnt know what it is. Just something to keep in mind.

I'm not really in the market for an MP3 player tbh, I was just curious. I hadn't noticed that it was actually out and people were buying them till a few days ago when i saw them for sale on Newegg. Just wanted to see if they turned out to be any good. But from the bashing it's taking here I would guess not iPod still rules the MP3 kingdom it looks like

And that's typical MS to make a product that's not compatible with its newest OS...

Sorry to dig up an old thread but I've just got a Zune and I love it.

Best mp3/video player I have used and after takeing it into college people with Ipod video's have said that it is much better and would swap any day also they have said how easy it is to use and takes seconds to learn if that.

The software is great it doesnt crash like itunes.

The firmware runs so smooth and fast and.

The video quality is very good better than a creative zen or ipod video.

There isnt any start up lag and the video player doesnt take ages to load either.

Every thing about it says quality even the box package is "deluxe"

And at only £145 incl next day post and free premium pack earphones it's great value for money.
