Hardline

Gentlefolk. after a catastrophic leak i decided to jump to hardline instead of relying so heavily on rotaries. this has been the most difficult thing i have ever tried to create.

i knew i would make mistakes so i bought 7 lengths of the stuff. took me a while to learn how long it took to burn and that the mandrels are an annoying piece of hate. i eventually gave up on the 90 degree one and started freehandbending around the 360 degree one for the 90s as it seems you can get closer bends. i am not finished and i am down to the last length and am currently crapping myself as the pc is sat on the kitchen table and my family are getting a little cheesed off. doing this has given me a new respect for anyone that is a acrylic bender. seriously you guys are awesome.

ps any tips on how to use the ruler kit LOL

First rule of hardline tubing, don't rush. It *always* goes wrong.

I found the mandrels a bit tricky, but so long as you measure your bends right, they're great :)

With regards the rulers, just try to always measure from the same edge of the tube, so from the outer edge, follow it round the full route of the tube to the opposite side (if you were doing two 90 degree bends for example), if you need to change directions perpendicular to a previous bend, that's when it gets tricky, but you can mostly do that by eye.

Since you have lots, just keep practising, my last bend was glorious in comparison to my first :)

each length has taken me an average 3 hours to get done LOL. i wish rushing was my problem sirsub. i wish i was kidding. the only bend that was straight forward was a 90 in the bottom compartment. any of the ones with compound bends have been hilariously hard.
