HAF-X (942) Vs HAF 932

Hi all.

I'm about to buy one of then, but wanted to know if it really worthy to buy the HAF-X.

Here in my country, the prices are:

HAF-X : 180€

HAF-932: 135€

So 45€ diference, that is a lot in a case.

P.S.: My parts will be Intel i7 950 on OC (3.8Ghz or 4 GHz), 2 GTX400 or GTX500 Series ( to decide too) with a Rampage III extreme. The cooler will be the Noctua NH-D14

If you like the look of the HAF-series, then the HAF-X is a good buy. It has way better features than the 932 which in my opinion is outdated now.

The extra features of the HAF X over the 932 that are relevant to you are the filters, increased airflow, better cable management and hot swap module. I personally think the HAF X looks a bit better and it has interior paint. So it depends on how much you value those features, HAF X also supports 4 Way SLI if you someone discovered the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

Yeah about the dust filters are nice.

Well Im using a old midtower in my old computer and when I saw the HAF-X in the store in the other day, OMG the case is HUGE!!! One of the biggest I ever saw. But it looks that the 932 have almost the same size, so doesnt matter.

About the Hot sawp, that feature SUCKS, because is easier to open the case and use the tooless HDD bays inside. The Hot swap bay requires you to screw the Hard Drive to the slot. Wich is not very pratical. Unless you have many slots (aditional, besides the 2 comming with the case).

Well I honestly dunno, maybe I just will not look for the price and Buy the HAF-X, the doble 200mm fan slot at the top is great and the Graphic cards solutions are cool too. About USB 3.0 well I dont think I can use then because the motherboard only have 2 connections in the back i think (Rampage 3 Extreme).

i own a 932 and its a solid case, the Haf X wasnt out when i did my build, but if i was doing my build now then i would opt for a HAF X as it the next gen after the 932

Dont you think the 932 is good enought? If not, can you tell me some reasons why?

I despise dust, the HAF 932 appears to be a dust magnet, an internet cafe I sometimes go to has them and they have so much dust.

Just want to emphasize this. A mate of mine got one and within a week it was very dusty inside, so if you do get one make sure you dust proof it.

Well I have an old case, low quality. And yesterday I open it to add an Hard Drive and OMG so many dust. So The HAF being a High Air Flow will pull even more XD

Since the Case is something to go throw some upgrades I think I gonna buy something good. So I will go to the HAF X
