please help i am getting nuts :(

the 11c is completely wrong mate. Its probs the CPU

I never use the stock paste anyways so clean it off and get something like Mx4 or NH-T1 from Noctua. Remount and make sure you screw it down as tight as you can with a screw driver.

As for the rattle make sure its not something touching a fan etc. It shouldnt be the pump.

So my CPU is dead? H100i is dead that was the noise returning it tomorrow :(

Dammm...... I need my PC

We have recreated that noise in the lab, it only happens when the fans are at extraordinarily low RPM on the built-in fan controller. For a short term fix, you can correct this by manually raising the minimum fan speed in Corsair Link.
It can likely be corrected with a firmware and software fix. We're working on a new firmware now and will release it when complete, should be no more than a week or so.
Sorry for any stress this caused anybody. Pretty embarrassing to have a noise issue after spending a year updating a product that already had a noise issue at one point.

Worth watching all the way through.

They will have the fix out before I buy one, but I would buy one anyway. I would never hear the noise because I have no intention of ever running the fans at low speed :D

It'll be the fans not responding well to the fan controller rapidly turning the fans on and off.
I'd just lock them to 5v or 7v anyway so it shouldn't make it make the noise

I was going to - probably still am.

They'll fix the issue within no time, plus I won't even be running the Corsair fans, and won't be running fans through the controller either so it shouldn't really cause any issues for me

I too was gonna get one but with these reports surfacing and no reviews out days after the release I went ahead and sprung for a H100.

I'm sure they'll get this fixed though cause it doesnt seem to be a hardware issue so they can probably get it fixed with a firmware update.

OP, is your CPU overclocked? I was wondering if it could be an unstable core. I've had that a couple times when stress testing a new clock. 1 core wouldn't completely crash but would drop out enough to run much cooler temps.

I think its probably the same situation as with the H100 pump grinding. It was only happening with 1 in 100 units. That's hard to duplicate in a lab but once they start shipping out, it looks like a lot more.

Damm... No PC! WTF

Just an update everything is giong RMA DOA.. So thats a other 6 weeks without a PC.... also send CPU and Motherboar back under warenty just te be shure that thats okay... hopping the bid differaence is gone then in the CPU temps...

Damm.... It´s not funny anymore jus wanted to update my colling after a ocverheat... no i am stuck with nothing.... only a new case the one thing a am happy about...

can I replace the stock fans with the AF140 Quiet Edition High Airflow 140mm and still get the same kind off temps that you get with the stock fans... I am planning to mount them on top of the case under the mesh like so...

or the other side off the fans up... I want the get the top as exhaust...

Hope that Corsair brings the update soon!

There is 1 review on newegg that said he used Noctua fans instead of the stock fans on a h100i and claims the pump is silent , so I'm guessing it's a fan issue. I'm going to wait for more reviews and feedback.
FWIW ,There is a youtube video of someone with a h100 that put a diode on the yellow power wire, search corsair h100 fix .

With all of the problems with Corsair's coolers, I'm thinking the Thermaltake Water 2.0 Extreme might be a better way to go... Get some aftermarket fans for it (Gentle Typhoons), and I think it might be the way to go.

I've been waiting for a good review on the Thermaltake Water 2.0 Extreme . Also I'll be curious to see how well the Cooler Master Eisberg Prestige 120mm & 240mm will do. I think the Eisberg is supposed to have a copper core radiator , not sure though.

Yeah. It's the cooler I'm seriously considering, but I can't find any solid reviews or comparisons of it. It's all either in Chinese, or shaky 10 second videos.
