DO NOT USE!!

I just bought 2 new sickle flow fans and installed them on my H100, both plugged into H100 controller, and both burnt out after just 2 seconds. What a shame, now my room smells like burnt PCB.

That suck. I hope you can get your money back. I was at the computer store today and considered picking up some to install on my h2O 620. Glad I didnt.

From what I have been finding out it is a common problem with the H100 only. People with H80 and others have not had this problem with sickle flow fans. And even if you did get them, plug them into your mobo header and control them via software. Will make a lot easier.

Yea it was, it only fits in one way. I plugged in some older cooler master fans and they work fine. Also a pic of what? the smoke is long gone and I have already replaced the fans. I cant remove the blades without breaking them, and I do not want to as I want my money back.

a pic of a sickle flow fans pin, juz curious are they instaled the wrong pin hole

I really cant tell without removing the sticker and following the wire. They are all black.

Also just a note, they did spin for those 2 seconds. afterwords smoke shot up through the RAD

KoS, you let all the magic smoke out!

i burned up two bitfenix spectre fans straght off the mobo header.

the smoke and glowing red wires were a sight. these also worked

until poof! i feel your pain.

Thanks for info. I am considering getting some new fans for my H20 620. It is between the Cooler Master Sickleflow or Enermax UCTB12N-BL T B Silence Blue LED.

sebar,

the enermax on my H100 were loud as pooh.. i moved to the noctua f12 in push and p12 as pull.

best solution for noise and temps. the f12s are not all bad in price. linus has them is USA for 15.75.

I had an Enermax Magma on there before and it was loud. I was thinking that the TB Silence fans would be much quieter. Well I am in no hurry, the cheap cooler master fans I am currently using are working good. Thanks for the info.

Enermax magma loud? Even at full blast I could barely hear my Magma fans.

I NEVER plug my fans into the pump......regardless of model, etc....Straight 12V for mah CPU fans

(I initially tried my CM Sickleflows on the H100 and the pump wouldn't even turn on. Same thing on my old Kuhler 620)

i have phobya nano g12's and g14's, they have great airflow, great static pressure, look great and are REALLY quiet. you should look into them

they are, but i dont feel the static pressure is up to par. jet-like at first, but then piddlie wash-out.. i breaking-in a pair of artic cooling ap12 pwm, smaller $$, but a bit like the TB.

anyone got a pair of PhanTek on H100.

Maybe I am to nit-picky or maybe I have a defective fan. Even as an exhaust on my main rig the magma is the loudest thing in my system when turned up to full speed.

Huh that's odd, this person gave them 5 stars and compared them with the H100 stock fans:

I got CM Sickleflows and what a mistake that was, they look crap and they are super loud at 1000rpm
