Peer Guardian is a popular tool amongst us Torrenter's and P2P'ers as it blocks billion's of IP Address that could be the MPAA; RIAA. But, sometimes this popular application, blocks Folding@Home from Sending and Recieving WU's, etc.
To stop this from happening/prevent this from happening...
1. Right Click Peer Guardian
2. Uncheck "Block HTTP"
3. Then, Doubleclick The PG (Peer Guardian) Tray Icon.
4.Click the "Manage Lists" Button
5. Now, highlight the "Education" List, and press "Open List."
6. Scroll Down To The 17x.xxx.xxx IP's. Thats Stanford's IP.
7. Right Click Stanford and click "Allow Permanently"
Now you're done! Just click "Close" then X out of Peer Guardian (This will minimize to tray.)
Good Luck! Any questions, post here.
