It's a Gigabyte 1GB card. Took a little extra V and temps are at 70C but it's chugging along. ATM it's the inside card or GPU 0 so not great air flow available especially on this crowed mini ATX board......

Thinking another one maybe nice.....this could maybe become a 40K PPD machine

If your card is at stock v or just a small bump I suspect that that it is throttling or "reverting to 2d" clocks, your core/shaders clocks will show as OK but the PPD will be way low.

Try puting things back to default reboot your comp and restart the GPU client let it run for 20 minutes and see what the PPD is, if you have things set up correctly it should be some where around 9K +- PPD

If you'd try GPU3 there rarely will be 66XX WU's AND you'll get higher PPD from your i7........

yeah 66xx's are killers but they need to be done to me its not points its wu's

I would still try as I suggested and see if you get around 9K at default, if you don't you probably have some setup issues

2nd 460 just ordered! Got a new plan on optimizing the big dogs in the farm and utilizing another PCI slot. HeHe

Went with another Giga 1GB card, after moving this one to the outside so it can get some air it's running at 57C, 1.075V, 900 core and 1800 shaders, with 7 units completed at these settings. Absolutely kick asss!!!!!

can get one already for not to much....

But i am getting the feeling i need to avoid the 768Mb version(s) ?!
