GTX 770, which brand?

Ok so I have settled on getting a GTX 770 however which brand do you recommend?

Is the cost difference between this one

But then the gigabyte brand seems to be one of the most recommend

KFA2 is an underdog brand so not many people recommend them because not too many people know of them. I've heard they make very good cards though.

Would not recommend you to get the EVGA card unless you can find it with the ACX cooler. The reference cooler is going to be louder and make your card run hotter than the other coolers.

Do realise that the KFA2 card has no DVI out though. Only HDMI and DisplayPort. It also has a white PCB.

Anyway, you can't really go wrong with any brand like EVGA, Asus, MSI, Gigabyte, KFA2. As long as you make sure there's an aftermarket cooler on there. Performance-wise the difference will be next to none and even less when you decide to overclock your card.

If its a ref design card its made the same as all the other ref cards......

its just price/waranty and whats in the box that changes.

The first two look plain wrong though so get the Gigabyte.

First question was really just about the differences/brand recommendation.

I agree that the KFA doesn't look particular special even the ones with the coolers.

So I have narrowed my decision down to these two

I think I prefer the look of the msi because of the slight red colour but the gigabyte looks meaner, has 3xfans and is called windforce

There's not an awful lot of difference between the two and either will serve you great. Just go with the cheapest or whichever you think looks best

Im a EVGA fan myself. Have always had great experiences with their cards and their customer service is the best of any of the GPU manufacturers.

That said, any card from a major brand like Gigabyte, MSI, Galaxy, EVGA, Asus or the like will be a good quality card. All the major brands make good stuff, I just prefer EVGA based on passed experience and their customer service.

that EVGA looks like a chocolate bar. i hate their new standard design.
i got the palit gtx 770 jetstream 4GB, but to be fair i took it because it was a bargain. 390 euros, since i bought it it went up nearly 60 euros. but i can't complain about it, it's silent and looks great, let aside that stupid blue LED which doesn't fit with the colors of the card at all. haven't done any overclocking on it and temps are kinda irrelevant because of GPU boost 2.0 and i'll put a waterblock on it some day anyways. all that is missing really is a backplate, which you can get for a couple euros though.
take whatever pleases your eyes and offers the best warranty if you are on about that.

I would wait till Sept 25th. AMD is supposed to announce(maybe release) new 9xxx cards. The 9970 is supposed to be on par with a titan/780 and be slightly cheaper than a 780.
