GTX 770 bios Flash

Got a question for you gpu gurus before I take a risk on my brand new card...

So I was beginning the overclock process on my Gigabyte GTX 770 4GB card when I realized EVGA precision would only let me go to 102% of the power target.
Upon further investigation, I learned that different cards have different limits set by the manufacturer, placed in the bios. For instance an EVGA card might have a 106% cap, while the MSI Lightning might have a 112% cap, etc. I'm able to put a +50 mhz OC on the card as is, but any more and it'll crash due to lack of power going into it (it's barely even passing 80*C on graphics burner benchmarks). So, would it be safe to flash the bios from here (http://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/140316/gainward-gtx770-4096-130523.html) and flash them using NVFLASH on my gtx 770?

cfg file? You only need to click on settings and change a few check marks? Then restart(the whole system i think) and it should be fixed. If not then it would be the bios.

that raised the OC room slightly, thanks.
however, if in the future i wanted more power, could i flash another gtx 770 bios as long as it's a 4 gb card?

Well I never flashed anything before. Except my bios. But from what i know as long as its the right flash for the correct card then it should work as long as you follow the instructions very carefully.
