GTX 760 SLI - thoughts?

I just bought MSI GTX 760 2GB Twin Frozr for 150€ and will probably buy another one soon. I had plans for a 780/Ti but the price still seems a tad to high for me. I know it's high-end but yeah. Might as well wait for next-gen since it's just around the corner.

Now I'm pretty sure it won't handle 1440p gaming at stable 60fps but I hope 1080p will do with some turned down eye-candy.

Apart from say BF3 and Crysis 3, should I except to have any decent fps at 1080p Single/SLI mode? Mostly <2013 games and whatnot that I have to recap as my current setup isn't really on-par with current requirements.

Anyhow, card should arrive next week ;)

Erhm, as far as I know the GTX 760 is only slightly slower than a 670 and my 670 FTW does ~80 FPS at max details in BF3 on 1080p.

For 1440p, you would be better off getting the GTX 780 (Ti) cause of the extra 1GB of VRAM. Though tbh, it's always better to get a single card solution over SLI/CrossfireX because of things like power draw, heat output, software issues and noise.

Edit; What about testing your single GTX 760 before you decide if you want/need an upgrade?

I was considering 670sli but i ended up with a single 780 and have no complaints :D But yeah, you're better off going more powerful single card
