Hey, I've been wondering how far you guys out there with shiny new gtx 680's have managed to overclock them?

I have managed to push mine using afterburner to:

+175 Core

+325 Memory

Anything above that and it start's to slow down.

Had it running 3d mark 11 at +250 on the core and +500 on the memory but the score came out worse than the stock score.

4ghz core and 8ghz mem @ 3.4v. Im pretty happy, but what do i know

On to the topic:

I manage to get myself to these offsets:

+180 MHz Core (Max 1264 MHz)

+570 MHz Memory (Max 7142 MHz)

@Daimien C, try to restart your computer. It worked for me

When I mixed a lot with the settings it seemed like the higher clock I got the worse score I got. But after I restarted once (With clocks loading @ startup) I managed to get 200 more points from 3Dmark 11 Extreme.

Probably just random that it worked then. But hey.. might work :>

Just my opinion but I wouldn't really want to overclock the reference board, gets too hot for my liking at stock speeds.

@Damien + Panda: What temps are you reaching on a stress test?

In 3Dmark 11 I reach max 63 C. In BF3 for 1-2 hours I have reached max 61 C. In League Of Legends it's about 50 C.

Can't remember what mine was reaching, but will be playing around with it again this weekend to see how far I can push it within reason as it's on air but once it's under water I will push and push it for a few benchmark runs.

My god it was a joke people, I never even had my 680 when I posted that. For real I do 132%, 175core and 375mem. I can go up to 500mem but leave it 375.

can't you just unlock it on afterburner?

hehe I had already done that so I must have misunderstood the previous question

I looked it up and from what I found it is not recommended to adjust the voltage manually but maybe someone elsa has something to say about that

Hehe I tried 1075mV GPU +225 and MEM +575 and got P10110 in 3DMARK 11

Tried higher and I thought I was gonna fry it

These settings gave me the best results of the day but will try more tomorrow...

btw this is all with a stock cooler...

when is the rumered Super OC 1.4-1.8GHZ 680 gonna come out? I hope it's at least May,

otherwise we better off waiting for the GK110 at the end of year. I'm not gonna spend $600

for it at like August
