Hey guys just need some help here, according to GPU-Z my 670 seems to be running at PCI-E X16 v1.1 for some reason? My motherboard is an ASUS P8P67 DELUXE. Running the card in the top X16 2.0 slot. Although I am running a Creative X-Fi soundcard in the bottom 4x slot, but I don't think that would affect it? Thanks in advance :)

Not 2000% sure what the 1.1 means, but you seem to be ok as it does say 2.0 x16

Haven't used gpuz for ages, what does the "?" icon do ?

1.1 is the older standard for the PCI-E bus, just as 2.0 is to 3.0. It says the card is capable of running at 2.0 but is running at 1.1 the "?" icon just starts a render test

1.1's not a bus rev matey.

1.0a is a pre-amble to 2.0. Your P8P67 wouldn't know what a 1.0a is as it's too new.

The only drop down you can/could expect is x16 to x8 (or 4 or 1).

Having said that, I'm basing that statement on the last work I did on the final ABit X48 mobos that came out.

Every other manufacturer was releasing X48/45 with 2.0, ABit stated 1.0a.

Worked the same, and allow the breaking of some records using the mobo.

I am not the creator of it, but all I know is when something is reading something wrong, it usually means it is not compatible or at least fully.
