I can decide to choose either the EVGA GTX 560 Ti 448 Classified or XFX 6970. i hear u can OC the GTX 560 TI 448 Classified to GTX 580 speeds, but i cant decide weather or not to trust that word, so i ask what would ya choose?
It's not all about clock cycles. I can get a 6310 to 2Ghz, doesn't make it as fast as a 6990 because it has so few functional units. I'd go for a 6970 or 6950 OC card (1GB is good for <1200p)
Wait for the newer cards like mentioned above. If waiting isn't an option then I'd go for the 6970. I do think that the 448 could trade blows with the 6970 though, as it's stock performance is between a 560 Ti and a 570. The 570 trades blows with the 6970 in most games.

as mentioned lol just because you can overclock it to 580 speeds (which btw aint much over stock 560Ti's) there are several other factors that will still make the 580 eat a 560Ti's lunch like cuda core memory bandwith
but still my vote is for anything Nvidia its just how i roll
The conclusion of this review sums up the 448 pretty well, reading how things compare to others and what offers you the best value for your money is the way to go, not fanboy logic.
But like others said new cards are coming, if you can afford it the 7950 is out on Tuesday and will be around £350 it has just above 580 performance but overclocks to 7970 performance without increasing voltage.
I would love to own the new gen cards but money is a option, in USA that's like $450 and i don't got that. I got $350 for now but if I wait awhile I can get that money, so best buck for your money is the 7950 huh...Ii don't like the look of the 7*** series but I don't care if it performs well. To me performance is more important.
I would say save abit more money and just get a 560ti, from what i´ve seen from this months CustomPC and other reviews, the 448cores isn´t great value, and the 560ti in most games is about 1-2fps behind the 6970 and its 40-100pound cheaper.
