GTX 460 SC SLI vs. AMD HD 6870 CF?

Ok so im building a new gaming rig. this will be my first! I was originaly going to with the i5 2500K and but then chose the i7 2600k because i will be doing tons of sony vegas rendering and design work. Anyway. I cant make my mind up of which card i should purchase. both of the cards cost arround the same. So here is a quick rundown of my parts.

i7 2600k

MSI P67A-GD65

8GB Mushkin 1600Ghz Ram

800w Corsair Power Suply

etc, etc...

So What would be better? The EVGA GTX460 Super Clocked SLI or AMD/ATI XFX HD6870 Crossfire. I plan to do mostly FPS Gaming. post bellow what would work best for me... thanks.

The 6870 is the faster card and XFX would be faster than 460 SLI

Ok so, right now im leaning towards XFX HD 6870 Crossfire.. hopefully it will perform good and run BF3 at its highest settings when it comes out.

definitely 6870 cf. they are much better faster cards specifically if you go xfx which is what i have and i love it. soon to be getting a second one in a few weeks actually for bf3, maybe ill see you then

actually the 6870 is closer to a 470 in performance the 460 is competing with a 6850
