GTX 285 idle temps

Hi I'm quite new to the forums so if there's something i should do, just tell me. c:

But my question is: I'm still running a GTX285 and it's quite loud.
So i turned the fan down to 30% and it's death silent. But then it idles around 60-62°C.
Is this still acceptable as an idle temp or is it better if i turn the fan up a notch?

Anything below 80 has no reason to cause you any trouble but make sure you crank the fan back up to whatever % keeps it below 80 when under load.

He is talking about idle temps though, for idle temps I would be very worried, what are your load temps?

Load temps are around 80-85C 90 when i'm stress testing.
I adjusted the fan curve, not letting that hot head get over 85 in games.

Perhaps you should re apply the thermal compund

He is talking about idle temps though, for idle temps I would be very worried, what are your load temps?

Doesn't need to be at the load speed at idle.

Reapplied the tim idle temps are now 49c and load 72c
