GTX 260 SLi Vs. HD 5850 Vs. HD 5850 Crossfire

Hey guys,

I'm new to these forums, but here's my first post:

I have 2 GTX 260-216s (OC'd to 650/2250) in SLi.

How does this compare to a single 5850, and furthermore to 2 5850s in Crossfire. Am not too concerned about power consumption - just raw power in games.

Anybody have any links to benchmark comparisons?

SLI 260 may beat a 5850 slightly, however will have higher power consumption and obviously no DX.11 support.

CF 5850 would just destroy it, considering that you don't have a CPU bottleneck.

Have decided to sell up and go for a single 5850. My hand was forced when eBay gave me a 10% off voucher and somebody was selling one new for under £200!

Will either upgrade to Fermi or go Crossfire sometime in the future.

I would wait untill Fermi comes out, because you are looking at a new gen card vs. a old gen card, I know that the old gen card always get their butt kicked by the new gen card just take a look at when gtx's series came out
