Is this their attempt at softening the blow of the multitude of delays?

I'm all for delaying for a polished game but even this is getting ridiculous now.

im not that impressed hell it looks slightly better than the ps4 version.. by slightly I mean just that.

I will still buy it though been wanting it on pc since it was released nearly 2 years ago on 360/ps3

Come on RockStar release the damn game already! Even going from Steams user hardware statistics those capable of running this at 4K comfortably is miniscule, they should just stop with the UHD teaser crap and release it already!?!!?

TBF I don't think all of steam are R*'s demographic for GTA, it should be as good as it can possibly be.

Very true and given rockstars:

RECOMMENDED SPECIFICATIONS:
OS: Windows 8.1 64 Bit, Windows 8 64 Bit, Windows 7 64 Bit Service Pack 1
Processor: Intel Core i5 3470 @ 3.2GHz (4 CPUs) / AMD X8 FX-8350 @ 4GHz (8 CPUs)
Memory: 8GB
Video Card: NVIDIA GTX 660 2GB / AMD HD 7870 2GB
Sound Card: 100% DirectX 10 compatible
HDD Space: 65GB

it's going to run on pretty much any system, all this teasing though it's a little annoying, we know it's going to be awesome on PC and 4K is a touch whoring.. I mean how bad ass is it going to look after the communities have had it for a year and the next iCEnhancer gets released

We don't really know its going to be awesome at all. It will certainly be "pretty" but given GTA IV, I can only long for a bug free experience. More often than not these games come out with good optimisation for single GPU but a horrid time on multi SLI/Crossfire configurations.

Why does everyone keep banging on about GTA IV, it had some launch problems but it was patched pretty well. It ran on my laptop HD4670M, my 570's at 5760x1080 and i've been playing it for a couple of weeks on my current rig. Totally maxed out at 1440p it runs at 80-110fps which is completely in-line with every other AAA title i've played. And for it's age it looks astounding.

There has been far worse games. LA Noire for example was genuinely a terrible port by R*, frame locked and locked to single monitor.

To be honest, I've started to lose interest in this game. It should have been out at launch. I can live with waiting 2 or 3 months, but all of this delaying is absolutely ridiculous. I feel bad for those who preordered.
