Wow, the only slight performance gain was in Doom 3 which was to be expected due to the large amount of vid ram that game uses... but shit, it's getting romped by the 256mb alternative in everything else.

Guess that solves the 512mb mystery :)

i havent really gone through the specs, but is the core clock speed still 500mhz? or is it higher

This card is not gonna be utilised with the current gen games (apart from Doom 3) so when we get some more taxing games then I'll judge is its any good..... :)

No.....only Doom 3 out there "tests" these cards. Other than that there just seem massive overkill. Like I said...the next gen of games will need these for full settings.

The core is clocked at 425MHz ;)

thats not that great lol :wavey: i wouldnt really waste my money on this until games and applications come out that can utalize this fully, as kempez said

overclock it and it cd be an extra 100 :)

500MHz would be quite an achievement.. But I don't think it will be happening

Yes, I was (still am) confused why harmonic thinks that an extra 25mhz is so bad, rofl.

Yes, confused I am :D
