GRiD + Crossfire = Lame

So I figured Grid looked kick ass...everyone said the same and it's pretty demanding. Awesome to test my new rig on.

Bloody thing doesnt support crossfire.... :(

Really???

I swear it is featured in all the X2 reviews which have 48's CF'd for comparison and they do well...

Side note: it's too damn hard. I won the first race with ease the 1st time and every race there after I have failed to finish. The steering is SO senstivie...

Yep GRID sucks with the keyboard (if thats what ur using). I have up and may get a controller instead.

Also Crossfire has only started working officially for GRID in the 8.7 cats, but it still seems a bit flaky when i've done testing on ATI cards.

I've got the latest catalyst, I even uninstalled what I *thought* was the old catalyst and re-installed the new one...loaded up fraps and disabled crossfire...

Game loads up nicely into the menu and bounces between 100 and 150 FPS...and runs nice and smoothly through the game.

I then exit and turn on crossfire...race starts and is sitting happily at around 300 fps (drool) and then drops to 3 fps by the first corner...

Oh that sucks!

The game looks lush and yes Jim, I'm using kb and it is almost unplayable. I'll see about getting an xbox pad working with the pc

PS3 pads work on a PC without much effort as well, although I would expect a 360 pad to be better supported. Not a fan of GRiD but it does look nice :)

How do ya get the PS3 controller on there?

Microsoft Xbox 360 controller for windows £17.99 inc del from Play.com. Well worth it if your a fan of GRID.

Or just spent £15 on the wireless reciever then you can use wireless controllers, but it would get annoying always changing signal, to PC then back to 360 etc.
