Hello OC3D forum users!

As might be obvious from my username, my name is Shaun. I'm a recent Mechanical Engineering graduate and have been fortunate enough to get onto a graduate programme with an aerospace company which I start in September. I'm a long time PC gamer and also a bit of a CAD jockey however, I've done very little PC building or modding in my time.

I recently broke my leg whilst mountain biking (my main hobby) so have had a lot of time free which I've spent looking at building a new rig, something which I will be starting topics about in the future looking for advice! Due to the nature of my injury I'll be off bikes for about 6 months, meaning I won't be spending money on them and now that I will no longer be a skint student and entering the world of employment I'll be able to afford something decent!

Looking forward to drawing on this forum's expertise and will try my best to contribute where my knowledge is relevant!

Cheers!

welcome mate hope the knee repairs itself well, you could try cycling games to keep you busy on the new rig till your back on your feet

Its my ankle that got raped as my leg broke but thank you.

The only cycling game that I can remember now is No Fear Downhill Mountain Biking on the PS2, it was absolute shit but me and a mate played it to death to unlock all the top end bikes

Think I will stick to racing and FPS games!
