Hi all

Just signed up and posted my rig.

I'm actually a silent PC enthusiast, so I probably don't envy the systems of most of you here.

I do have a few games on a dedicated Win98 partition. and since installing Farcry it's looking a bit sad. Maybe it's time to overclock that cpu a bit.

This probably sounds extreme but I also have a second system for music which is underclocked!

I've a few on there, the only thing I've played recently is Live For Speed (which is great fun btw).

I did a 98 partition as I heard this is meant to go faster than XP with games. It's certainly a much smaller installation. Driver support is getting a bit thin now though.

try windows 2000 instead of 98 mate, much more stable platorm on the whole

I'm running both flavours of XP for regular use.

I just have the 98 for games. I thought 2Ksupport for games was a bit iffy?

no more iffy than 98 tbh. infact xp isnt realy a problem, it will run just as well as 98
