Graphics Card for under £400

"MSI R7970 Lightning Boosted Edition" or "Club 3D RoyalAce 7970" or "Zotac GeForce GTX 770 AMP! Edition"? Which one would you go for and why?

I'd go for the MSI card as the Club3D card is really loud. The Zotac ones are supposed to be pretty good but I've had a great experience with my MSI card and the cooler is great.

Are you limited to those cards only....... because the MSI GTX 770 Lightning or Gaming cards are £358 and £320

But yea, personally I'd go with MSI, their Twin Frozr cooling on older cards were great, and dont see why they'd take a step back on new card designs

Regular 7970 LNG was great in its day. It was the card of choice for benchmarking/overclocking. Dunno about the Boost Edition though. The royalAce is still a pretty good option. It doesn't get much better in terms of out-of-the-box and would be my card of choice in that price range. The LNG, yeah, I can kind of see it but you would have to tweak it quite a bit to get the most out of it.

As far as i'm aware Tom's test show the Club3D cards to beat any other card out there. Overclocked the farthest by far. Go for the Club3d if performance is what you want especially if it's going under water
