This might go back before your time a little but Saboteur 2 : Avenging Angel also had a female as the lead character. That was ooo, 1985? something like that.
Let's not forget L4D (Zoey) and L4D2 (Rochelle). My mate Ryan does *the best* Rochelle impression.. "quit fussinnng, let me heal youuuu" lmfao.
Oh yeah, Dead Island has women too. I played it first time through with the Asian lady because she had the best stomp kick.

Somewhat off topic but... why can't we just let people say things that aren't always right?
I could be way off base here so correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't jumping down people's throats because of their nonfactual statements be somewhat similar to the SJW warriors that are being moaned about in another thread that jump down people's throats for doing things that actually make sense?
I know that's somewhat of an odd thing to say because we shouldn't just let everyone do and say stupid things without offering criticism or an alternative, but the harshness and the quickness to belittle others (not suggesting NBD did that here) because of their sometimes misguided beliefs are in a way a sign of overt sensitivity; but instead of overt sensitivity to their 'feelings' or their 'misguided desires', it's overt sensitivity to stupidity.

They both sound just as irritating and misguided to me. There's a huge movement towards fighting injustices that sometimes don't exist, but there's also a huge movement towards fighting the SJW by using equally cheap tactics as they do. Both are equally non-essential and both equally essential.
In other words, I don't know why we all have to moan so much.

All I said was if it was necessary to say that when she could have easily conveyed the same message without it. She was being hypocritical calling men idiots and proceeding to talk about gender balance. Yeah belittling men is okay but God forbid a man steps up and calls crazy women out and it's the man fault

I'm old and the memories not so good, but wasn't GTAv taken off shelves in some stores because you could do that, though it didn't seem to matter you could do it to men as well

I don't particularly care about your opinion in itself either, but to talk down to someone based on your inference without first clarifying the intent, and then to later call them a hypocrite (without them even commenting again I might add) is completely uncalled for.
I'm not "arguing", I'm telling you that unless LC states that their statement applied solely to men then you are in the wrong here.

As I said earlier, I read it as the kind of person who would be upset by a female protagonist is an idiot, not directly calling someone names, which is what you did incidentally.
