GPU-Z Fails to open: Windows 7

As the name suggests, I am trying to open the GPU-Z.0.6.2 (as well as the earlier version 0.6.0, but with the same result), but windows comes up with the pop-up "This program has stopped working. What do you want to do?"

I have tried to run it as administrator and such, but again, the same window pops-up. I run CPU-Z just fine.

On the GPU-Z release page:
http://www.techpowerup.com/162639/TechPowerUp-GPU-Z-v0.6.0-Released.html

It says that it has support for the Nvidia GTX 680, which is the card I am running.

Any thoughts?
Thanks.

I had a issue where CPU-Z would not open and it turned out it was because of Aida Extreme being installed.

If you have Aida or Everest installed try uninstalling them and see if it opens up after that.

I have just downloaded both the ROG version and the Non Rog version and they both opened with no issue.
