GPU suggestion needed.

My friend is really into drawing on the pc. He uses a drawing tablet and wants a good monitor. He really wants to go 4k. If he were to go 4k would 2 gtx 660ti sli each 2gb vram work. He does not game. I told him about the color issues that some of the 4k monitors have. So in addition to a gpu, maybe a 1440p monitor that has amazing color accuracy. The monitor needs to be under 1k and gpu under 800.

most people on here would suggest a single gpu over to so maybe a gtx 780, not really knowlageable with monitors so i can help you there

4k monitor price is not issue. I found a 4k for 700. What gpu does he need? Also any good 1440p color accurate monitors?

This is not something I know a lot about but I do know that he really should be looking at Firepro (AMD) or Quadro (nvidia) cards, these have support for professional graphics apps. Consumer spec graphics cards would probably work but aren't the best for the job.
