GPU OCing and nvidia drivers

hello all.

so I've just been seeing if i can get my GPU clock a bit higher, I can get it up to 1436 mhz and about 1778 mhz on mem. but my drivers are not liking it just crashing and recovering over and over.

is there a way to stop the drivers from crashing at that speed or is there a driver version that work better when OCing a gtx 770.

Normally driver crashing is an indication that you have reached your limit and need more voltage or your card is just topped out

Drivers!?! No. Your main concern is heat while overclocking, keeping the heat, voltage and frequencies at acceptable levels is the key, drivers won't help you here.

im still at stock voltage so ill see if that helps.

heat out put at full load is 73c voltage stock. i wants to keep going ive had it higher then the 1436 mhz just the driver crashed then recovered over and over. all i need is a driver version that's more stable.

The driver crashing is due to an unstable core clock, you need more volts.
just increase the volts +5 at a time till you can run stable without the driver crashing.

yer i just tryed i bumped the volts up and hit the max i could go on the volts and it was still crashing i don't think the volts is helping me tho because with the volts at max im still only getting the same OC as i got at stock volts so i think the card cant take it over 1384 mhz. at least its only topping out at 74c now.

try to not hit the gddr oc so much. gddr is usually already running with its balls to the wall. where the gpu could have a lot to give depending on the silicone lottery.

ive only gone +50 on the vram it becomes unstable at+65 or so, i always keep the vram a bit under because ive gone through hell on a oc before and it was just the vram being to high.
