well my old GPU has died and im now looking for a new card but im unsure what to go for with the amount of money i have and also if my cpu is going to be to old now to get the most out of a new card.

Money to spend on a new card:- £260
CPU:- i5 2500k
Motherboard: - Gigabyte z68x-UD5-B3

im not sure if i would be better off building a whole new system or if the main parts of the one i have are still ok

also i dont mind what brand of card i get

An aftermarket RX480 or a second hand 290(x) card would be good.

Dont worry about the CPU etc, they are more than adequate for gaming. Give it a small OC if need be.

Yes I would go with an after market 480 when they come out soon !

The Powercolor Devil and Sapphire Nitro look fantastic :D

awesome thanks for the advice people.

is there any date set for the aftermarket 480 as yet?

Rumor for the Nitro and XFX card are end of next week. I know one review site(can't find the article) said they are working on there's right now. It is confirmed that Asus's 480 will release mid August.

If you can spend an extra £30 you could get
Radeon Fury NITRO 4096MB HBM @ £299.99

Better deal IMO
