gpu boost

Hey all,

I have a gigabyte windforce gtx780 3072mb 954mhz base clock and 1097mhz boost clock, and when I open up evga precision I dont seem to be able to utilise gpu boost, the target temp is 80 degrees but my card don't go over 1097mhz and sits at 68 degrees.

What am I doing wrong?

Can anyone shed some light on this, why will my graphics card not OC itself at alland just sit at 1097mhz?

could be the tdp limit of the card which is more determined by the voltage used "atleast it was with my 780"
However if it was the tdp it should over clock to the point you wanted then throttle down then speed up again "annoyingly" and when monitoring the temps they should not be hot..

i would have a look at msi after burner and run it along side gpuz.
over clock. start the render test on gpuz. then go look at gpuz readings see what they say. remember to click on the render window to make sure its on top or it wont force the gpu in to 3d mode.
