ssd. corsair force lx 128 for boot & games / 512gb lx for storage
mobo. asus maximus vii formula
ram. hyperx beast 16gb 2400 cas 11
monitor. asus vg248qe 144hz with g-sync mod
case. wont corsair 870t I think not out yet
cpu cooler. corsair h110

if u can let me know if u would add something. I have 3,500$ to play with come income tax. any help ?

any one know any thing about allowcating or reseving a portion of a ssd to add a bigger catch to a hdd being practical and usefull so you can have better preforming hdd to save money may be usefull to you but im not sure if its all its cracked up to be.

512gb is not much space at all dude. But other then that nice build shall eat ultra for breakfast.

Also look into the new Crucial MX100 drives. They tend to be cheaper than the corsair ones. Also mine as well just save the money from the small SSD and use it to get a full 1TB drive if it is budget. More space and a lot easier to manage. I wish i did it that way.

Unless you're Overclocking your wasting your money on the i7 4790K, I'd go i5 if all you are going to be doing is gaming. Also I keep the 512 SSD (Crucial MX100) and get a 1 TB Mechanical Drive for storage, do you really need 16GB Ram as 8GB is more than enough for any AAA games.

In that case you could always get the 4690K if all you're doing is gaming but still want to tinker with overclocking
