So first is if this:

http://www.aria.co.uk/SuperSpecials/Other+products/GIGABYTE+Radeon+HD+7950+OC+3072MB+GDDR5+PCI-Express+Graphics+Card+?productId=48110

will be ok on my 600w ocz power supply?

(If the PSU isn't enough to run comfortably with an hefty oveclock then what would you recommend?)

Second is will a cooler master cosmos S at £110 be better than a £100 cooler master Storm trooper?

Another question that may aswell be answered rather than creating a new thread is if LG passive 3D is good for gaming?

About the PSU it depends on the rest of you rig, but with a single GPU you're fine with a 600W

And about those two cases it depends on which features you want. PCI slots in the back and what not. They're both immensely nice cases. I'd prolly get the Trooper.

Cheers for the quick reply, I was thinking the trooper too

Single GPU it should be okay.

I've got an lg cinema 3d set up, it is quite good, the depth you gain in the screen is fantastic. You do loose some resolution and it will task you gpu harder so in the most demanding games you might have to drop back on the settings even with a 7950 but overall I have enjoyed it.

Even 500w is plenty for a 7950, most people worry too much and end up spending more on a higher wattage PSU. It's always good to have some extra juice, but if you know you'll never upgrade, it's pointless getting more than you need

whatchootalkinboutwillis??? did you not see the words heafty and overclock in the OP??? when the minimum req's state 500w this req is assuming your playing by the rules and running a bare minimum rig with no overclocking of anything.

with good reason we worry about it as the psu is the main dont skimp on part. if ya skimp here you can easily loose the whole rig.

correct

but if you know you'll never upgrade, it's pointless getting more than you need

imho bigtime wrong way of thinking here. headrooom is the godsend of all enthusiest building while we may never forsee having to need more power having, it there when needed saves the person from doing a facepalm later when an upgrade comes about and now they can only afford one or the other but not both. Having it available on demand is the best thing one can do.

Also keep this simple fact in mind. A 650watt psu and a 1200watt psu will pull the exact same power and usage from the wall on the same system but the 1200watter will do it more effeciently (givin your at 600watts of usage) and alot quieter. As with the 650 watt your at almost 100% of its max it'll be screaming from the fan. While the 1200 will be at 50% and like huh you turn something on??

in a nutshell getting more of a psu is never POINTLESS

I know, but is the saving from efficiency going to outweigh the cost of buying a PSU with a wattage double your max usage? Also, sorry for dragging this off topic a bit. And with the 500w business i was only saying what you could get away with at minimum, I wouldn't recommend anyone get the lowest wattage possible, because it's better for the PSU to not run 100% load all the time, and as you say noise and temps play a big part too. I also definitely agree with buying a quality PSU, I was just talking about wattage
