Google has announced plans to start blocking annoying ads in Chrome, starting in 2018 when they release their new ad-filtering system.

They continue with world domination. I really don't care. I turn off adblock just for sites that i like (OC3D) the rest can stay blocked. If they were discrete i wouldn't use adblock, but because you can't open anything without having a stroke it stays blocked. It may keep ads adequate.

Yeah I have ublock on for most sites online and facebook... the millions of pop ups on the sites and the random ads on facebook are so effing annoying

But Google stepping in may mean I start getting​ more ads now that I think about it. Since many companies are going to be creating more that follows the guidelines.

Never. I get to skip after 5 seconds every time. Had that same issue even when I had adblock
