Good year for films ....

Been to the cinema this years more times than i have ever in my life.

Personally think this years been excellent for films.

Last year was rubbish as was the year before that. But seemingly its all of suddenly picked up with some right gems hitting the big screen and all good to grate viewing.

Star Trek (Just blew me away)

Terminator

Transformers

Harry potter (going to see at weekend)

Ice age 3

District 9 (looking forward to this)

Public Enemies (dammed good watch)

The Final Destination (dunno if it will be as good as the others)

G-Force (looks good ?)

2012 (gonna see it it might be good)

and a few others to come.

Has the entertainment industry moved up a couple of steps or some thing. what do you think ...

i have to agree with you mayhem i've been more impressed with this years films than this years games, the films i am most looking forward to.

umm i gotta go out to movies more often... out of all those all i see is xmen and transformers =/

o one movie i hated this year:

dragon ball

but yea movies seems to be good this year

as log as it doesn't turn of any thing like wow (tom cruse one) ill enjoy it.

Meh, nothing in them for me if I'm honest.

A good view in some of them in part, but I lose attention really easily, poke too many holes, get irritated by things. i.e. the boy who stars in Transformers 2 - total irritation from start to finish.

Get plenty of let downs.

I like movies that a number of weeks l8r I'd feel like watching again, and that's been a long time since happening.

District 9 *looks* like it might be good.

EDIT: watched Public Enemies last night. It sucked if I'm honest. It seemed to me as if all the actors were looking at depp throughout the whole movie in a kind of amateurish sort of way. I actually fell asleep about 3/4 way through, but I will make a point of seeing the last 1/4 just incase something exciting happens.
