I've gone and done it!

For the past 8 years I've had nothing but nVidia Graphics cards. From the MX Series, to the 5700 Ultra to the 6800 Ultra. From an 8600GT SLI to the Quad SLI 9800GX2s on launch from them to SLI 285s etc etc.

Yesterday I placed an order for a MSI 280x OC Gaming Edition replacing my 560Ti 448. Ending my streak with nVidia and thus bringing my current system up to this generation in graphics and now being a full AMD Build.

I'm pretty interested and excited to check out this Mantle API when it's released. As well as overclocking this card. The last AMD/ATi card I overclocked was the Radeon 9550!

Welcome to the dark side! I've historically leaned towards nVidia cards being an occasional Linux user since they've better proprietary drivers, although AMD have offered so much value for money lately.

Also you can take solace knowing us people running all AMD gaming rigs are becoming an increasingly rare minority.
