going for the gold :)

there doing great trim is for single ssd use on opsys that support it. For raid you have Garbage Collection which is like trim but usually only works when the drives are idle. Now somewhere I saw that this can also happen at the logo screen during boot up but I highly doubt it as imho thats when their not idle lol. But I have noticed on a few occasions a few extra seconds of boot time. Not sure if thats GC kicking in or not but I have seen no degradation in performance in the 6 weeks I've had them.

I dont think spread spectrum exixts on SB platform I have disabled all thats recommended

cpu enhanced halt (C1E)

C3/C6 state support

cpu thermal monitor

cpu EIST function

intel turbo boost technology

and when going for higher oc's

cpu multi threading

the upper ones have to do with throttling the cpu under load/idle conditions until I disabled those cpu-z was dancing a jig all the time lol

under what heading do ya find it??? I'll look again always helpful to find that stuff for better oc's lol

doing a lil benching to see whats what lol so fqar I'm happy will try 5GHZ and see what the diff is lol

lol I didnt resize it lol photobucket mangled it lets try this one

4.5GHz on cpu 815MHz on gpu lol

might give it a whirl tonight then but back to work I go and it all depends on how late I am and how I feel lol its over 100f these days and I work outdoors.

some more runs and must say looking better thansk for the tip on extra voltage lol I assumed if it was enough to bench it was good enough lol

all runs at 5.1GHz on cpu this one is stock gpu

5.1GHz 775MHz gpu

5.1GHz cpu 820MHz gpu

aye ....I like seeing the 1k improvement between runs lol but one should always watch temps while benching lol I failed to see those 87c temps til after lol everything's ok but dayum lol
