GOG warns Cyberpunk 2077 players about Save Data Corruption Bug

Cyberbug 2077, Rushed, development crunch and still so many issues, should have been delayed and less crush so people can actually polish this up properly.

I think the word you are looking for is crunch, as in development crunch time, not crushed.

Virtually every software project has crunch time. Pretty inevitable especially since for games the product you make is what makes you money. You got no game you got no income.

CDPR just wanted to release before Christmas. That's really it. That's corporate. They should have known they would still sell like crazy regardless. Also having an extra 2 console platforms launch during the end of development alongside an unforeseen pandemic changing development practice doesn't help.

Yeah meant that, edited to match it.

I get that some crunch happens anyways but for cyberpunk it has been so excessive and in the long run they would earn more if the game was in a less buggy state because word of mouth still very much applies and a good polished product sells way more in the end then a badly polished one, it is is a hard balance to get to, but in this state, i wouldn't have released it just because christmas is nearly upon us and developers now are still working hard to fix it up.

i must say my experience on PC is pretty good with CP 2077.

yes there are graphic glitches. but no crash in 60 hours playtime.
all missions could be played. did not get stuck in a mission (compared to other games that is good).

i am not saying it could not be better ;)
i don´t want to deny the issues on consoles.
it seems to be a sh*tfest on consoles.

what is a bit annoying are the many exploits (money, exp farming etc) that make the game very easy to play.
i decided to no make use of them.

another point is that the weapons mechanic is broken. some weapons are just overpowered.

anyway... all i am saying is, that i enjoyed the game so far.
