Well hello, I am D.J. and I am just starting to want to build systems and overclock! I plan to build my very first system soon and I have always been a fan of OC3D and of course the magnificent b**tard himself Tiny Tom! P.S. I am wondering if anyone could help me build my first system with some tips of what I should use? I plan to use an I7 2600K air cooled with the Zalman CNPS11X, Maximus IV Extreme, Ether the MSI GTX 580 LIGHTNING or the MSIR6970 Lightning ((if anyone has some comparisons that would be great)), Asus Xonar Xense sound card, Killer Nick 2100, corsair dominator GT 8gb ((thinking of replacing with Kingston T1 Black 12gb and just have three sticks instead of a fourth one to save money)). The only real problems I am having is deciding on a case, I wanna use the new Raven 03 but if anyone has some suggestions I would love to here them

One thing, scrap the Zalman CNPS11X, it is shite and loud!!! If you want a good cooler that is quiet and will get low temps get a Noctua NH-D14 or a Thermalright Silver Arrow or if you don't like those maybe the Bequiet Dark Rock Pro.

Yeah I was thinking of getting the NH-D14 but all my friends like Zalman so I figured why not but, I could actualy fix that load problem. I was gonna replace is 120mm fan with a Gelid Wing UV blue but I will just end up getting the Noctua

Start another thread in the right part of the board to get more help on a new build but zalman, no. 3 sticks in a sandybridge, no. Depending on what your after there are much better options for the same price.

, and it was actually suppose to be 2x 4gig sticks but I am gonna change to ether Mushikin or Kingston still checking out my choices for ram at 2133 speeds
