To me, the bottom one, Eagle version, looks to be an 2.5 slot design and not 2 slot which is stated in the article.
The bottom picture even shows an 2.5 slot design. You can see that the small light bar under the "GIGABYTE" logo is shown on the above picture, at the top of the card as well. Hence making it the same card.
