I wonder how much it's going to be priced, I hope it's not too high and around £220. I might consider getting it but only if someone makes a waterblock for it because that magazine heatsink is a no go for me![]()
It wouldn't be so bad if it was full size, it just looks so strange being so small and makes the 5.56mm round look odd.![]()
It looks like they have chopped the full size one in half and stuck a 5.56mmm round sticking out of it. I'm not a fan of it though to be honest it's the only thing I don't like about the G1 series motherboards.

I have a horrible feeling that it'll be more than that, especially when you consider that the Z68X-UD7 is circa £270...
£359.99 PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!! *spits coffee over the floor* A UD7 is £100 cheaper and has just as many features.
Stuff that, I reckon though, because it's new and because it's PCI-E 3.0 the price on release will be different to the price in a couple of month's time.
A lot of retailers will play on the fact it's PCI-E 3.0 and charge extra because they now people will be rushing out to buy them but give it a couple of months and I reckon the price will come down a bit.
Just to add a twist to the PCIe 3.0 issue, it is just a BIOS upgrade, and it's now available for all 6 series Gigabyte boards
