Very nice although I'm personally looking forward to the reference design or as it's been rebranded, Founders edition.

Personally looking forward to the MSI Lightning.. now i know it won't be coming anytime soon but with there track record, should be amazing!
Matrix would probably be my 2nd choice, another amazing series

But I can say if the 1080 Lightning came out before the Polaris version, don't know if i could restrain myself.

it's Gigabyte, think i'll stick with EVGA :p

Good thinking dude keep with the EVGA GPU's.

I'm not changing GPU brand again i'm happy with EVGA and i don't care if a company comes out with a better one i know EVGA will not go over the top and make the thing look ugly unlike some other brands ^_^

Personally, I think I too will go for an EVGA this time around.

I bought 2x MSi Gaming 4GB 760's when they launched, both of them, the fans broke down within 2 years and as an effect caused the GPU to spike past the 95 Degrees Celsius mark, looking forward to trying another brand and EVGA seems to be it.

*Edit*
On a side note, I just hope to see a back-plate on them, it's one thing of the EVGA cards that have held me back before. :/

Well hopefully it will come with a backplate if not EVGA is the ONLY company will give you an option of buying one after market un like other brands not pointing any fingers but you all know who i'm talking about ^_^

Only a fan of EVGA when going water. Otherwise I dont even bother. I dont see them updating their ACX cooler. Maybe some minor changes. There really isnt any need to change the cooler when the chip its going to need to cool isnt going to be harder to cool than the previous one unless they are slimming down.

Would be halarious if that poster was for Polaris xD

I don't think the other companies are going to come out with newer coolers either.

tbh almost every card i've had has been underwater, msi bends like a bitch, asus are ok just think it take too long for there custom pcb blocks to come out and gigabyte coolers look too nice to put a block on it. but EVGA's warranty system and price points is the best i've seen.

Triple fan cooler? Perhaps something like their "Windforce" cooler or?...

And why is everyone so anti Gigabyte and love EVGA?...

4 x Gigabyte GTX 980 Ti in a row with coil whine and/or extreme buzz noise. Enough for me to stay away from them until further notice. But in their defense I also had an Asus 980 Ti which behaved like an opera singer when plugging in a HDMI cable.

I've always had good experience with EVGA, also super customer service. Don't even believe Gigabyte wants to deal with customers.

Yeah I've had a straight swap no questions asked when I had an EVGA 580 Hydro copper 2 die on me, sent to germany and got it back within a week. Love it.

I will say build quality on EVGA does feel really good, The Matrix's I've previously had felt REALLY flimsy in comparison to the Classified I had a few months ago and the EVGA card even had way less coil whine than the Asus cards I've had so far.
