I've had two Gigabyte Windforce X3 cards and neither whined. But my brother's did. My ASUS Strix DC3 cooler whines, though, in some games.

It's not the cooler that whines, It's the components on the PCB, But you are lucky, Gigabytes coil whine is legendary ^_^

Oh god it's not that hard to work out.

I think there dropping the other names and the Aorus is the "NEW" name for Gigabyte line of Gaming products.

What's the logo meant to be? Looks like some kind of eagle with an over simplified arm n hammer fist under it? I hope it's not meant to be a mouth.. it's a bit strange.

Unless it's really a G and it's actually called Gaorus?

I do wonder who they employ in their branding departments sometimes

Yeah, the design is not as attractive as the G1 Gaming 980ti was. The silver accents on that design were pretty nice.

Looks like an Eagle who's had his jaw broken or like robot-ish...? And that is coughing... Sort of.

I can't wrap my head around this one... I'd rather have MSI's dragon than this lol.
