Gigabyte GTX780 Treasure Hunt

Z0mg, another fantastic competition from OC3D.

... never been good with these search for picture things, think I found one AND won something ! So will attempt to perceiver.

I take it it displays ok with Safari ? O o (I got no ad blocking on this mac)
 
Lol, found it today after like half an hour of searching. I feel dumb now, wasted 5 days of my time looking through the wrong places...

Have read every single article/review on Gigabyte twice (with AdBlock off), so Tom's 'hint' about it being on a Gigabyte article/review is either a troll (very likely), or it is shown for a split second in a YouTube video about a Gigabyte product. If that is the case, all hints have been trolls. I have scrolled through a load of Gigabyte videos, but haven't seen the image, but I know that images don't often show in the scroll.

If I don't find it soon, I am giving up. I have a 770 Lightning, anyway.

He's stated that it's on the site, not YouTube, not the forum, not Facebook.

btw there are a lot of very good articles on this site. So i'm pretty sure to visit it more often now.
 
unless i screwed up my entry, i found it finally. i had to sign up for the forums, although i have been subscribed to the youtube channel for a while now and this site was one of the few that convinced me to buy a gigabyte 3d aurora case a few years back.

thanks for the opportunity! i am planning a new build in the next few months to replace my 920/gtx 275 system.

I've looked twice and very slowly, so I am 99% sure I haven't missed it. I give up. It can't be on a Gigabyte review/article, or Tom's purposefully hidden a Gigabyte thing in a thread with a different title or something. LOL, IDK why people are thanking him for this; it's been a f*****g nightmare! :p

The photo is just as big as the one on the contest page, and you'll know the second you find it. If you've been through everything and didn't see it then its a browser or add on problem.
 
Really hard

Wow didn't think I would spend this much time trying to find it. The official hint isn't exactly much of a help. However it was a nice challenge. It took away some of my homework time but I like to believe viewing all those pages thought me a lot about the technology. Best of luck to everyone :lol:

Well he did say and to quote "it's in something related to Gigabyte" so it may not actually be an article or review about a Gigabyte product by itself. So it could be in something with a Gigabyte product in it but not by itself.

By the way, I have no idea where it is.
I haven't even started looking yet, well, apart from 1hr after the comp was announced. And even then I was looking in the off topic section, which was before we got the hint that it was on the main site, derp. :lol:
 
Nooooo! You published the hint! Now noone's gonna watch the WAN show archive anymore! xD
After i heard the hint i found it in 20-30mins.
The problem is all of us started with the wrong thing/categgory/whatever. The guy that sent the right thing in 90 minutes after TTL uploaded the vid was one of the few people who started at the right place, i guess :D

Well I posted the link to the WAN show yesterday so I figured anyone paying attention to this thread would have already have gotten the clue from it :D
 
I don't even know how I never heard of the WAN show before.. I have been a subscriber of Linus and and OC3D for at least a year ;..;
