Gigabyte GTX780 Treasure Hunt

People have been sending in links to the compo entry page, links to facebook, print links and one person found the image but sent the image link in not the url to the page its on!
I don't understand how people can find this so hard to grasp or why they make it so hard for themselves.

You've hidden a copy of the picture from the comp page on either the main OC3D site or forums which we need to find then enter by providing the link to the page it was on. It's just as simple as a where's wally book in terms of understanding what to do though it's maybe not as easy to actually find the picture which imo is a good thing.

I don't understand why people ever thought using ad blocking software on an image search was a good idea... that's not OC3D/TTL's fault.

Maybe and I could be completely wrong here but maybe because they assumed the image would be an image and not an ad. If you were like me and had ad block on and saw the compo page the image was clearly visible so it would be easy to assume the same would be said for when you found it on the site. I have been meaning to whitelist this site for a while now just never knew how and this was the push I needed to figure out how.

So many people saying they have got it right trying to send in the link to our facebook page, links to the print button and most of all the actual competition page even though we said its else where on the site.

So just to name and shame heres a list of everyone that has entered and got it WRONG!

LOL......That is all :lol::lol::lol::lol:

400 odd review pages (almost 7% of the reviews): time for a breather I think.
Who knew that keeping your eyes open and wiggling your finger a little bit could be so tiring?

Also - after viewing it so many times, the AMD tautology "never settle forever" is starting to bug me :)

I have now successfully visited all front pages of every review on this website. Since i couldn't find it one may think it is deeply hidden in one of the nearly 20 pages every review has...
Seems like this will really take a month to complete :D I wish i had as much luck as those few people that found it already. This seems like just a tedious art of a competition entry. You could also have required us to send you 1K pieces of paper, handwritten with our forum name on it...

calm the hell down, if you post more pictures you'll get booted so pack it the fuck in.

Except that we have specifically stated it DOES NOT meet the requirements and doesn't count. Accessibility options are there as a convenience, not for loopholes to be found.

just because you have an image url, doesn't mean it will show up on a webpage.

You can have an image url of an advert, it will appear when you link to it regardless of adblock, the key to adblock is that it detects ELEMENTS ON A PAGE. When you load an advert graphic on it's own, to for example a .jpg link. It is ignored by adblock.

When you load a page with it on it may hide it

Stop questioning it, and just find it.

double post!

It would be easier for ~70 people to donate each 10 euros and have our own raffle for a GTX780 ... with blackjack and hookers  the odds of winning would be much better also. but collective action is so damn hard to achieve ...

Either i wasted my entry, or the gramatical errors and the lack of punctuation are intentional. Guess I´ll only find out at the end of the month ^^

Alright, i dug through 18% of the reviews for the last couple of hours, enough for the day! If i do another 9% every day i should be finding the image in approximately 9 days, worst case.

Mmmmh, the Image will show up if we look for it in the articles with the " Printable Version " ?! Or we need to check every page in the article / review ?!
