Maybe to you but not to me, I rather just have them not built into the GPU in the first place.

TBH i don't mind what EVGA have done with the lighting on the GPU i just don't like that sort of design what gigabyte has done.

Ill probably turn them off to have more OC headroom, the cards only come with 1x 8-pin connector, well that is; if the partner cards don't arrive with an extra 6-pin connector. ^_^

Looks to be, I'd imagine that would cause some serious turbulence noise at high speed.

The blades have a weird split design though wonder if that's supposed to negate the turbulence

If you look, the centre fan rotates in the opposite direction to the outer fans. Should reduce the turbulence noise significantly.
