Ghaz's Custom TJ07 Project

Okay, so I have been trying to decide on a case for some time now. I finally settled on the TJ07. I'm gonna go all out on this case. I know how I want it to look, and have mocked it up in sketchup. I'm gonna be getting most of my stuff from watercoolinguk (so if you work there, please post as I would like to keep in close contact). I'm going for a Red/Black look, and I plan to do the following:

Powder Coated Interior (WCUK)

One large stealth bay cover (Cover all drive bays)

Red Fans/Cathodes

Custom Red Acrylic Window (WCUK)

Perhaps "Ghazghkull" Cut on the opposite panel to the window (With Red Acrylic Behind It) (WCUK)

I would also like to watercool it. Staying with the theme, I would like to use red tubes/coolant. I have never installed watercooling stuff before, so I would like some advice.

I like the look of 1/2" ID tubing: Anyone know of any red tubes in this size?

Barbs: What are they for? Will I need them? I will give a list of stuff I have in mind, please tell me if I am missing ANYTHING at all.

Could anyone recommend a res that does not show through the bays, preferably internal.

I'm going to use jubilee clips for holding the tubes on, any other little things I'm going to need?

Finally, some pics of what I want the case to look like:

Sorry for the use of photobucket, not sure where the oc3d internal uploader is >_<

Thats exactly where I got the idea :)

However I didn't like the stuff they put on the bay cover, I personally would prefer it just one solid colour.

Okay, so today I have been practising with spraying a case. It's coming out well so far, I'm quite please with the results. I will post pics when I'm done. This will allow me to spray the bay cover when I have made it. I plan to make the bay cover by finding the dimensions of the bay area, and cutting it out of a sheet of metal. I will then mock-up some replicas of the bits that clip in the bays, and weld them on to the metal (this means I am gonna have to learn to weld atleast a little ;p). I will then sand it down and spray it black.
