Getting back deleted items?

Is there any possible way to get back items that were deleted?

For recovering pictures and such I've only ever used this program called Restoration, here. It's not great, but it works sometimes.

Sorry no edit button. The Restoration thing you said worked great Mike except the fact that you have to do it one by one and can't select a bunch at once.

Try GetDataBack, recovers anything except RARfiles as they always corrupt, so never RAR important things as you will never get them back !

I have been in your situation before, albeit with important company documents that I shouldn't have deleted. Can't remember the name of the software that I used to get it back but I think we paid about £30 for it.

Your pretty much safe if you shut down the computer immediately to prevent overwriting the deleted sectors on the disk, find a raw disk reader and use that. Obviously problems occur when you have written data to the disk since the unintended delete but it's usually correctable
