Getting a 560 Ti

You will only notice a difference in games that support PhysX but not many games do support it, personally I wouldn't bother but if you do play games that support PhysX then use the 240

if anything it will take a minor load off the main gpu but I doubt you will see it I am in process of stepping up my EVGA 560Ti to a GTX570 only costing me my 560 plus 98$ ( and 29 of that is return shipping lol chose next day) But the 560 is a great card all its own. I havent had any issues with mine and she oc's great.

though so oh well ill just save the card for back up

New technology is always advancing, if you keep on waiting for more-advanced technology your not going to get to building a pc, even if it is 1 week you could of had 1 weeks enjoyment out of your card :

On topic, Linus did a review on this and basically found that lower end GPUs were actually bottlenecking basically, or giving the slightest increase, that he was saying it wasn't even worth it, as you'd be better off selling it to put cash towards another card for SLI

its nto advanced when its the same card...just figured the hawk edition was better cause of custom pcb and whatnot but its all the same the gigabyte also has a custom pcb and its quieter and obviously it overclocks well ... im not even sweating it anymore

yea i might see if my cousins buys it and use that for a new hdd

Well there is no harm in testing it out right? You never know tbh, although you can always predict

true ill definitely give it a go

i was mad i didnt order a 560 hawk even more mad when i noticed newegg didnt charge me yet so i could of just canclled and reordered

but then the fact that it was put of stock made me happy

one thing that will make me happy is if my gigabyte SOC ships from new jersey its like 1 day shipping sinc ei live in new york

maybe ill finally finish my build log lmfao!

hey im wondering would premiere pro take advantage of both the 560 ti and gt 240 ? anyone know?

if premiere pro supported amd gpu better i would of gone with a 2gb 6950 and unlocked it

premier pro does not take advantage of SLI or CFx

ah well pretty sure a 560 will eat up any video i throw at it

this thing is sweet but its totally overkill on this dinky monitor

i need to get a dvi cable using the vga adapter makes everything look slightly blurry even at the right resolution, weird ill try with the hdmi and see if it looks better

went from 30fps medium settings in gta to 70 fps maximum everything

and bc2 i get 100+ high settings 16X AF 16x MSAA

yea i really underestimated how this 560 would perform on a 1440x900 monitor lol especially the gigabyte soc version

4 day weekend coming up....1 day of school after spring break then a 4 day weekend wow.... time for some gta iv bfbc2 and tf2 binges
