Get "Amped" for Nvidia's GTC Keynote! Coming Next Month!

I'm glad someone is thinking... Not to mention even if someone disagrees doesn't mean I want to jump to a new card every gen...

I only got rid of my XP because I was bored with it. Over three years I had that card.

2070 prices hit rock bottom so I jumped, but only because it would have cost me 0. I could have easily recouped what I paid for the 2070 by selling the XP. Turns out I didn't have to (yay for luck) so I gave the XP to my buddy.

But yeah, at 1440p it was still very strong indeed.

I see you're a sensible human being that agrees a 2080 is not a reasonable upgrade from a 1080.

The only reasons I went from a 1080 to a 2080 super is I had a windfall earlier this year and my Mrs wanted a new pc otherwise I wouldn't have bothered.

A lot of the 20 series cards are decent upgrades. The prices are awful though. That said, if you can afford it there's no reason to deprive yourself.

I knew as soon as Nvidia went back to tank dies it was going to be expensive. It's just a shame they had the perfect lead up to charging maximum prices (a feature for the new Crysis perhaps?) because AMD were sleeping.

I did it because I was stupid. I have no excuse. While I have alot of disposable income, I still cringe at dropping such a price for a single card :S

I lucked out though because it seems to perform/boost better than most 2080ti out there.

I think they'll announce professional cards only for the foreseeable months? Hope not and if they do announce normally priced consumer cards. If they stay their current price range I'm out I'm afraid.
